Special Interactive Exhibit
in our Children's Department for the month of February


Learn about life on a coral reef with this fun and entertaining display for all ages!

We are having two public all-ages interactive video conferences with a marine science educator from Mote Marine Laboratories on Wednesday, February 8th at 2pm and Wednesday, February 15th at 2pm.
Each session will last about a half hour and no registration is necessary.

We also have several live teleconference spots open for groups of 10-25 children. Those interested in reserving a spot should call the Children's Department (813-749-1179) for available times and dates.

Toddler Time
Tuesdays at 10:00 am
Storytime Room
Programs include short stories, songs, and activities to encourage early literacy
and last about 30 minutes.
Recommended for ages 18 months to three years.

Preschool Storytime
Thursdays at 10:00 am
Storytime Room
Programs include stories and a simple craft and last about 30 minutes.
Recommended for ages 3 - 5 years.

Lego Club
Now on two days! Wed. Feb 8 & Sat. Feb 11

Battle of the Books Training

Read Fur Fun – Dog Tales
3rd Friday of the month
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Storytime Room
Children ages 5 and older read stories aloud to Shirley, a registered therapy dog.
They gain confidence in reading and have fun doing it!
