Who are the Friends of the Oldsmar Library?

Friends are concerned citizens who share the belief that a strong public library is a valuable, intellectual, cultural, educational and recreational resource in the community. Friends are library supporters who act as community liaisons to elected officials, library administration and trustees.

Why does the Library need Friends?

Our library is tax supported, but there are items that are not included in the library's budget. Friends of the Library can provide financial assistance, as well as promoting library programs and events.
